On behalf of Thi Be Phan and her family and Puccini Festival Australia, I write to show our gratitude for your contributions and support, which has changed Thi Be’s destiny. Thi Be has been the recipient of the re-construction of her gums, closing of the soft palate, reconstruction of the hard palate and two operations to close her lips. A total of 6 interventions.
We attach photo of when we first met Thi Be and the latest photos received. As you can see, what a miracle, you have assisted to make!
Unfortunately we have run out of funds, but we would like to continue to support Thi Be.

Dear Manuel,
sorry as usual for the delay of my reply.
I was very busy this last 2 months and I was out of Vietnam for one month. I went to french polynesia to work for humanitary surgeries and reconstruction of missing ears.
I send to you the last pictures of Thi be.They have been taken mid september of 2007. Sorry for the quality of these pictures but it is always very difficult to take picture with her.The result was good compare to the beginning and the family was very happy. Now, they take her out and you have given back happiness to this family. She can eat normally and she has start to speak, even to sing.
She will need surgery again. First for the eye-lids. It can be done as soon as you want and the family is free.
Then, she will need surgery to close communication, inside her mouth, between her nose and her mouth. Both side but with an interval of 6 months between the 2 sides. Theses surgeries have to be done at the age of 5-6 years old.
